Reflections from Robb Wolf's Seminar

This is the book that will become mandatory reading for all new people who join CFS in the New Year. It will be our Nutrition Bible. It is due out in stores September 14. It's highly informative, yet funny and interesting at the same time.

This week, I will highlight daily one important item he covered in his lecture.

Here is a list of the most common Fat Loss Flubs :

1.  Using Dairy for Protein. (No Liquid Food. Period.)

2.  Use of Artificial Sweeteners. (Brain can't tell the difference and releases insulin--which tells your body to hold onto nutrients and fat.)

3.  Not enough Sleep. (Ideally sleep until you wake up sans alarm clock.)

4. Too much exercise. (Requires specificity to the client.)

5.  Stress.

6.  Undereating. (Body cannot differentiate between stressors. Undereating causes stress. Stressed bodies hang onto what they have.)
